Data Processing Agreement

1. Scope of the Agreement

This Data Processing Agreement (DPA) details how ApplyAI acts regarding the collection, storage, and processing of your data while executing tasks such as AI analysis, resume optimization, and matching scores on your behalf (as the Data Controller or authorized individual).

2. Artificial Intelligence Processing

When you submit resumes (PDF/Text) and Job Descriptions (JD) to our platform, this content is parsed in real time and transmitted to our third-party AI service providers (e.g., foundation models accessed via OpenRouter) to execute natural language processing operations.

3. Zero Model Training Guarantee

We, as well as the contracted AI Model providers (such as OpenAI, Anthropic, Zhipu, etc.), guarantee under this agreement: Personal user data submitted via ApplyAI's API will absolutely never be used to train or improve their Large Language Models.

4. Storage and Security Measures

Your data (including optimized resume bullet points or generated messaging scripts) is encrypted at rest and in transit, and stored within isolated cloud service databases (Supabase), equipped with rigorous Row Level Security (RLS) policies.

5. Data Retention and Deletion

All records on the platform, uploaded attachments, and resume caches can be immediately cleared at any time by selecting "Delete Account." Once cleared, the database performs a cascading untraceable deletion within 30 business days.
