1. PIPL Statement
As a service provider operating in China and processing the personal information of Chinese citizens, ApplyAI strictly complies with the Personal Information Protection Law (PIPL) of the People's Republic of China. The purpose of this document is to clearly explain how we lawfully and fairly collect and process your personal information.
2. Legal Basis for Data Collection
We only collect and process your data upon obtaining your explicit consent or when absolutely necessary to perform our service agreements with you (e.g., providing AI-driven career management services).
3. Sensitive Personal Information
Resumes and job application records processed by ApplyAI may contain sensitive data regarding your professional history. We apply strict encryption to this data and only allow authenticated system components to access it. Before submitting, you must consent to allowing our AI models to analyze these records.
4. Cross-Border Data Transfer
If our model inference or service calls involve transmitting data to servers located outside Mainland China (for instance, to a trusted target LLM provider), we strictly implement security assessments or standard contracts according to the Cyberspace Administration of China (CAC) rules and will actively obtain your separate consent.
5. Rights of the Data Subject
Under Chapter IV of PIPL, you have the right to:
- Be informed and make decisions regarding your data
- Access and duplicate your data
- Data portability
- Supplement and correct your data
- Erase your data
- Require explanations of our data processing rules
